Spanish Dancer Turn All Around

Still here. Life has been an alternating game of hopscotch and jump rope for us lately. I've been dealing with some health issues that masses of blood work still haven't seemed to sort out. In between nasty bouts of nausea we've been ducking drama slung by my family and jumping over issues of personal responsibility that my husband and I can't seem to agree upon. All this bobbing and weaving has left me in desperate need of an attitude adjustment. And while not being afraid to use it can be fun, when snark isn't balanced with smiles it becomes just one big whine-fest. For now, I'm a bit tapped out on my blog mojo. When something strikes me, I'll post. For now, I am on the hunt to yank that jump rope out of life's hands and beat her ass with it.

Allow me to hand you a 12,000 volt Taser to follow up after the rope-beating.

I'm sorry. Life just yanks the carpet out from under us and then smothers relentlessly until we're screaming 'uncle' and willing to sit by a least favorite aunt.

Come visit for a minute. At least Ice sculptures are quiet, require no hand-holding and offer a little respite.

Click here for a little respite from the madness.

Oh, yeah, Titanium's taser idea is perfect.

Here's hoping things settle out soon.

Seriously. I will drive down to your family's homes and yank them up by their earlobes, and do some adjusting, you know what I'm saying?

I love you, hon. You call me if you need anything. ANYTHING.

@Titanium and Patois: Once I wrap the bitch up in that rope I'll tas her into submission. Thanks for the idea. :)

@AFM: Thanks, man. I'm not normally one to beg for comments, but it is nice to know I've got a few people out there hanging on for me.

@CMGD: If I thought it would make a difference, I would have you down there. You seriously can't believe the shit I am hearing. I can't even blog about it bc it is so ridiculous that my family would probably find the blog because no one else would ever have the same story.

Spanish Dancer - touch the ground, touch the ground.

Maybe a good session of skipping would help to shake off our respective slumps...I was just thinking the other day that I should host a women's skipping party - although I might break an ankle double-dutching! (is it even PC to call it this anymore?)
