Got the new computer, and it's fucked. Long story but the OS is toast, and I've spent the past two days trying not to throw it out the window.
In an attempt to restore my sanity, using my über-unstable old laptop I added a stack of new songs to my player. For your listening pleasure here's your Saturday Night Song List. Cool mix! Could have come from my ipod. :-)
The Offspring's Self Esteem is one of my favorites. Lots of others in your list could have come from mine as well. I've honestly never listened to ABBA though, so that first one is lost on me.
Yeah, that would make me feel better.
@only a movie: I knew you were groovy!
@Mirth: I never did either until I dated a Swede. ABBA is one of their national pastimes. And truly, the reason this one got added was because ABBA was just inducted into the Rock & Rock Hall of fame, and when I was in ATL three DJs were arguing whether or not they should have been. They stripped the lyrics out, and the rock beat shocked the hell out of the dissenter. And now that I've looked at the rest of the lyrics instead of just the chorus, I'm digging it a little more. Plus, my kids will love the line "Does your mother know that you're out?" and I'll privately laugh bc they don't know what they are really singing.
@Patois: I can't wait to get my headphones on today and crank it.
great tunage. That's one of my fave U2 songs.
This list is amazing. So many of my favorites. And I love ABBA. =)
Wait, I'm stuck on the fact that you got a new computer and its buggered. You bought a PC, didn't you? I told you to get a Mac...
@Cristin: I love it, too, but as my hubs is a HUGE U2 fan, this is just one of many to come.
@Chamuca: I have definitely learned to love ABBA in doses. The kids love this song today, though.
@AFM: And I keep telling you to buy me one.
You've got ABBA on there, which makes it all ok with me.
No "Insane Clown Posse"?? I thought I knew you! *says the guy with an ICP tattoo* /shame.
