I made it. Or rather, the cat did. We are leaving for the airport shortly, and the cat is alive and well.
Thank. Fucking. God.
I spent last night packing, talking with Hubbie on the phone about the meeting he attended at the childrens' school, and this morning it was official. Summer is over. I have had to do a quick shake-off of the summer daze when I finally saw what 7.45 am looked like. Gah. I am not a morning person.
So, I am off to spend hours and hours trying to keep the kids entertained (and some semblance of my sanity) at the airport.
Wish me luck!!

airports and kids. no thanks. Good Luck!!
Good luck, m'dear! Glad the cat survived. Poor thing.
Good news about the cat. Bad news about the long wait at the airport.
As for the morning coming early every damn day? I wish I could help you out, but it's outta my hands.
Damn.
Part of me (a very very very very very tiny part) was looking forward to something happening to the cat, so I could read about your adventures entombing the little thing in concrete.
Ultimately, I'm glad you've been spared the trauma.
