Talk Like A Pirate, Ye Scurvy Bastards!!

That's right! Today is Talk Like a Pirate Day!

Even if you only do it for five minutes, dress up the kids, stomp around the living room yelling Aaaarrrhh! and Ahoy, matey! The kids will love it, and it will give your uptight, bitchy neighborhood moms just one more reason to avoid inviting you to their monthly bunco night.

I'm a bad, bad pirate!

Give us yer treasure!!

I can't tell you how many blank stares I got when I said it was talk like a pirate day, matey! I even said N P ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR did it on Morning Edition. (Trying to make me look smarter, matey!) Now they add "commie" to the names they call me.

I wanted to comment about your blog. I found you from a comment you left on mine about the MMR (please feel free to email me about it if you'd like).

I love your blog! I giggled about the "what a bitch my MIL is" in your header...gosh, I could write a book!

I'll be sticking around to read your vents! :)

Thank you for the compliments on my pirate--yours are TOO adorable as well! We actually got a lot of compliments on the costume my son was wearing--I looked for a newborn Halloween costume and couldn't find anything I really
loved, so I actually went to the Build-a-Bear store and bought an outfit meant for one of the teddy bears! Since my son was only about 4 weeks old and probably 10 or 11 lbs, it fit perfectly! Best baby Halloween costume EVER, and I think it was only about $8!!!

OK. Wherever you are, we MUST get our pirates, err, kids together.

So cute!

Thanks for commenting on one of my blogs!

Oh, and I'm not Swedish, but I went to college in Little Sweden, USA (Lindsborg, KS). Uff da!
