LittleMan is giving us a very hard time brushing his teeth lately. Every night we try to brush it the "normal" way. If he clamps his mouth shut, we ask him if he wants it the easy way or the hard way. You see what his answer was on this particular occasion. The toothbrushing usually ends in tickles and laughter, but it made for a great shot.

Been there. When Zach won't take his medicine we do it the "dog way", i.e. force mouth open and down the hatch. He doesn't find it funny yet.

HA! I win! That was exactly what I guessed he was doing. Don't ask me how I knew. Just seemed logical to me in a weird way...

I so knew what this was as soon as I saw the picture. I'm glad LittleMan's bouts the hard way usually end in tickles and laughter. My demon-spawn Youngest's toothbrushing battles -- almost twice a day for a year -- nearly always ended in his unabashed anger at us.

I'm glad you left an explanation! Our kids seem to want the hard way for everything, too!

You sure he's not being the high-school bully, holding down LittleMan and letting a LOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG stream of drool hang just mere millimeters from LittleMan's face???

Oh my god. I recognize this pose. Was it toothbrushing or vitamins/medicine?
