Ahhhhhh, the Trapper Keeper. I never had such a nice, fancy one. Pretty cool!

No way, they still make Trapper Keepers!? That was the hardest thing - picking the right style. Turn up with an uncool Trapper Keeper on the first day of school and you may as well kiss your year goodbye.

What a blast from the past! My kids loved picking out their Trapper Keepers each fall. It was a major to-do!

And little Maverick is so adorable. I just want to muss his hair!

Peace - D

@Mermaid: LOL I don't know if I would say "nice and fancy" but thanks!

@CiHV: I think they do, but this is my OLD one. I found it in one the boxes I was unpacking. It still had my 8th grade paperwork in it. LOL

@Momma: I hope we have a similar tradition with my kiddos.

Oh how I begged for a Trapper keeper... And then my school started saying "No Trapper Keepers".

Jerks.

Does it make me totally lame if I admit that I still have one that I use?

Ok, so WTF is a Trapper Keeper? It sounds - well, I don't really know how it sounds.

I must know! The Baroness SO cannot be out of the loop!!!

@Betsey Booms: Dude, you totally got screwed. I'm sorry!

@Jayna: No more lamer than me who has one and doesn't use it.

@BvB: You poor deprived Canadian. ;) I actually had to explain it to my hubbie, too. It is just like a big binder that kept all your folders and pencils in it. It was all the rage to have the ones with the cool colors and pictures on it.

@TundraTantrum: It is a blast from the past, isn't it?!

@Random_Mommy: No WAY!! The exact one? Now THAT is a small world!
